I feel as if a blog should be themed.

So for the rest of this week, I will try out the "daily moments and observations" theme. Not really a detailing of my day, but little obscure things I might notice.

So for the first entry trying out this theme.

The other night I got my hair done. The salon is an old house probably built in the 40's or 50's. They have done a gorgeous job of renovating. All the original molding, ceiling and chair rail, is still in tact. Seeing that house all lit up inside on a dark night and stepping through the front door brought me feelings of nastalgia. warm feelings. I grew up in a house from the same period and roughly the same size. I think I want our next house to be from the 40's. And that means smaller and smaller rooms etc, but I want one. It's like a doll's house.

So my observation about life is that you never know when something unexpected is going to move you. I needed that night and I needed to see that house and I am better for it.
